Who We Are
Equine Protection of North America (E.P.O.N.A.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Epping, NH, providing care and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses.
We rely on the generous and heartfelt support from our volunteers, sponsors, and donors to provide care and comfort to our equine residents until they can be adopted out to loving families.
Our Mission Statement
E.P.O.N.A.'s Mission is to rescue and provide a safe haven for horses of all breeds who are abused and neglected, as well as those destined for slaughter, rehabilitate them and place them in responsible and caring homes. E.P.O.N.A. also provides a comfortable and therapeutic environment for a limited number of permanently retired horses. In addition, E.P.O.N.A. seeks to educate the public about horse welfare issues and the proper care and training of horses.
