R.I.P. Lucky

R.I.P. LUCKY!!! I always Loved you. You and “Icey” as I called him were my favorites when I worked for EPONA 6 years ago. I remember spending time just hanging out in your stall with you and “Icey.” I loved being there. I am sorry for not coming to visit you more. “Ralphie” was waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge…May You Find Peace Now ♥ ♥ ♥

Sal, Miracle and Blessed Find Their Forever Home!

Great News E.P.O.N.A. Friends:

Sal, Miracle and Blessed have found a Forever Home with Meryl Gillen, a long-time friend, volunteer, and former Board of Directors member of E.P.O.N.A. Meryl’s involvement with E.P.O.N.A. started about nine years ago. She has given generously of her time, talent and treasure to E.P.O.N.A.

Meryl has a lovely farm in New Hampshire on a beautiful pond with lots of acreage. The “boys” have their own brand new barn and will share her farm with other horses, dogs and emus. Meryl is a competent horse handler, rider and trainer and will provide a safe and happy environment for our friends.

We are so fortunate that Meryl has offered to share her love and her farm with Sal, Miracle and Blessed. Most of all, we are so happy that Meryl has opened her heart and her home to keep these wonderfully bonded horses together forever.

Thank you Meryl!

A Special Horse

I wanted to let you know how special that info is….and how special that horse must have been. As an owner of an older horse (32) he is now making dreams come true for my nephew’s daughter. What treasures of memories these horses contribute. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work.

I Know Great Horses Live Again

I am sorry to hear about Lucky.  Thank goodness to E.P.O.N.A. for taking such great care of him.

“Somewhere in time’s own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.”
