Spade royal flush

A gambler on the Las Vegas Strip lived the dream over the weekend, as they won almost $2.7m on a single hand of casino poker. The anonymous player was playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em at The Venetian when they hit a spade royal flush. The combination of this hand and the player’s $5 side bet meant that they were able to claim the progressive jackpot, which was $2,699,320.

11 players have won the “Millionaire Progressive” jackpot since it began in late 2018

A spokesperson for The Venetian said that 11 players have now won the “Millionaire Progressive” jackpot since it began in late 2018. Once someone wins, the pot resets to $1m.

This was the latest in a string of significant casino poker wins in the Las Vegas area over the past week. A local won a six-figure sum on Tuesday playing Pai Gow Poker at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, while someone else claimed $239,054 during a Three-Card Poker game on Sunday at the LINQ Hotel on the Strip.
