Slots Of Vegas

Slots Of Vegas

Slots of Vegas is another online casino that uses Vegas in its name. However, while Vegas is synonymous with great times and entertainment, Slots of Vegas online casino is far from such a thing. In fact, it has been blacklisted due to unethical business practices and should be avoided at all costs.

There are many reasons why it has failed. For starters, it lacks basic functionality, such as the social buttons not functioning at all at the top of the page. If you do find its Facebook page normally, you’ll find only a like button and nothing more.

There is also the fact that it is extremely outdated. One of its biggest claims is that you can play it instantly on a Mac, something that has not been that relevant to users for more than 10 years.

Prior to its blacklisted status, there wasn’t much to write home about in the first place. If you were a new customer, there were plenty of other sites you should sign up to before checking out Slots of Vegas.

If you were into poor websites, maybe then you should have checked it out. If you’re a regular person and like to use good websites, you haven’t missed out on anything.

Since you cannot use it now, this is a review of Slots of Vegas before it was taken off the internet.

Slots Of Vegas: About

You can tell a lot about a website from its ‘About Us’ page. In the case of Slots of Vegas, it doesn’t make for a good impression. For instance, if a business can’t even spell its own name correctly, it doesn’t give users confidence in the brand. Unfortunately for Slots of Vegas, they have fallen to this unprofessional blunder.

There are more unsightly aesthetics to the page that this too. After reading the text itself, you’ll be left with yourself wondering if the person writing it could speak fluent English, as most of it does not make sense and punctuation and grammar is far from satisfactory. For example, they capitalize random words in sentences just for the sake of it.

Next, there is not much information on who operates Slots of Vegas and the origin of its gambling license. This looks a bit shady and perhaps has a lot to do with the site’s blacklisting.

If you can somehow look past this and scroll through their About page, you will find that this online casino only has just over 100 games to play, which is hardly anything compared to other sites.

So if you were to look at Slots of Vegas on this alone, it’s not surprising to think it’s a terrible online casino.

However, if you go do actually decide to check out their Facebook page, you’ll see that it has more than 25,000 likes! This is a very large number, so even though what has been discussed so far suggests it’s a poor site, it’s actually very popular with customers… right?

Well… not really.

See, upon closer inspection of these likes, you will soon find that they’re all paid for. You can tell this by looking at the engagement on their posts. They each have little more than a couple of likes each, far less than would be expected from a page with 25,000 people following it.

The same can be said about its Twitter account. It has lots of followers but judging by the levels of engagement, it’s safe to assume that they have all been bought.

Now for some good news. There are a couple of customer service options available, including email and a toll-free number to call for US and Canadian customers, as well as a live chat feature to get questions answered fast.

Despite all its flaws, the site does show a 4 out of 5 rating in terms of customer feedback so they must be doing something to keep them happy.

Slots Of Vegas: Casino Games

Slots Of Vegas

Now, this is why you mainly came here: to find out how good Slots of Vegas’ casino games are.

To save some time, here’s the bottom line: there are plenty of games but they’re not great.

Let’s start with the good first: there is a decent selection of games to play. Even though it has Slots in its name, there are also plenty of non-slot games to play too. These include blackjack, pontoon, rummy, baccarat and more.

Players also have the opportunity to play video poker games, including all American poker, double deuces and more. Roulette players aren’t to be left out either, with both American and European roulette games to play.

The site apparently has an Instant Play option where you should be able to play some, if not all of these games without downloading the software.

And of course, there are lots of slots to play, with 3-reel and 5-reel games available. There are also games with progressive jackpots but you won’t find any Slots of Vegas-branded slots though.

Now for the negatives. It was mentioned that the Instant Play feature was available. However, it doesn’t work. No matter how much you try, you cannot play any slot or casino game without downloading the software. If you use the Safari browser, you can also have trouble playing any of the games after logging into your account. There are some reports that for players using Chrome, they can’t even log in at all!

If you can find a way to start playing, there are a few things you will notice straight away. For example, and this will be a common theme throughout this review, is that they look and feel outdated. There aren’t any special features while the graphics seem like they are years behind other online casinos. This is particularly the case for the slots.

For obvious reasons, this is a big deal for players. An online casino should want to create an inviting experience for players but Slots of Vegas seemed to have ignored this aspect. It’s well and good having lots of games to play but if they don’t look how they should, players can’t be expected to stick around.

For reference, here is a list of the countries that could have accessed Slots of Vegas: Aland Islands, American Samoa, Andorra, Anguilla, Argentina, Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Christmas Island, Cocos (keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Finland, Germany, Greece, Guam, Iceland, Japan, Luxembourg, Marshall Islands, Martinique, Mayotte, Mexico, Monaco, Montserrat, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Norway, Pitcairn, Puerto Rico, Republic of Korea, Saint Helena, San Marino, South Africa, Spain, Svalbard And Jan Mayen, Sweden, Switzerland, Tokelau, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Uruguay, Venezuela, VG, Virgin Islands, U.s. and Western Sahara.

Slots Of Vegas: Cashier

Funds can be deposited into Slots of Vegas using a MasterCard or Visa credit card and you can also top up your account over the phone if you wish. Neteller is an option available to players outside the US and Canada and cryptocurrency in the form of Bitcoin can be used too.

In terms of withdrawing your cash, Neteller is available as well as the option of a wire transfer and a couple of others.

So far, it all seems pretty normal. But in true Slots of Vegas fashion, it starts to go downhill from here.

There are no explanations on the site that tell you how long it takes to complete the withdrawal request. If you do some digging, you can estimate that the smallest wire transfer they will process is $200 and this can take up to 8 days to clear a bank cheque. Aside from that, it seems like they are doing a lot to avoid mentioning it.

There have been reports from past players that it can take a considerable amount of time for the withdrawal to complete – and even some cases where they don’t even get their money back at all!

Ok, but about how the games played on mobile?

Tip: it was better than playing on your desktop.

Slots Of Vegas: Mobile

Slots Of Vegas

If you were to play Slots of Vegas, you would have had a much better experience on a mobile rather than on the desktop. It works across the main platforms iOS, Android and Windows.

There isn’t an app to download so to access the site, you must go to the website through the mobile’s browser. The site itself adjusts well to the small screen but unfortunately, everything that performed poorly on the desktop does not improve on mobile. Still, the games work and will transition well to a landscape view if you prefer to play that way.

In terms of gameplay itself, the mobile gaming experience is easy enough to control. The games will load quickly enough but they are pretty ugly and uninspiring – just like how they appear on the desktop.

Unlike other online casinos though, there is no option to play for free. You are required to sign up and deposit before you can play any of their games.

Slots Of Vegas: Promotions

Slots Of Vegas

Much of this review has talked about how bad the site is, so it’s only fair to talk about the things that they do well: promotions.

When you sign up to Slots of Vegas, you are eligible for a 250% welcome bonus. For example, if you deposit $100, you can play with an extra $250 on top. This bonus applies to slots and keno. Pretty good.

On top of that, there is only a 5x wagering requirement in order to withdraw these funds too, which compared to other online casinos, is very generous. It is tough to determine how much you must deposit to take advantage of this offer though.

Once you have signed up, you are offered a few daily promotions but they aren’t spelt out to you properly. The same goes for the Slots of Vegas VIP club, with the promotions not telling you anything of note. What you will find though is that you must deposit at least $500 in order to be classed as a high roller.

The levels increase the more you deposit; you reach the silver level after depositing $1,000, gold after depositing $5,000 and platinum after depositing $10,000. However, it’s unlikely that anyone, in the history of the site’s existence, is a platinum member for the simple reason that no one would choose to play here.

Slots of Vegas also what could be described as an achievement program, but once again, there is no information on the website that tells you what it is and how you can progress.

Finally, there are slot tournaments to take part in but you must download the software in order to play them. Again, this is unlike other casinos where you can just play these kinds of games in your browser, reaffirming the point that this site is outdated.

To Sum Up

Slots of Vegas had its time but it’s only now that customers can forget about it once and for all. Even if it was still available to use, it’s not recommended that you do.

Sure, the promotions seem like they could have been worth pursuing, and if you like to play on mobile you could have some fun. But if you knew that there was no information about who operates it or where they got their gambling license, would you be able to trust it anyway? Unlikely.

If you try and find the`Slots of Vegas Facebook page, it no longer exists. Even if it did, you won’t likely find anyone actively contributing to it, even if there was some kind of ‘audience’ before.

Take your money and use it elsewhere. There are plenty of great online casinos with great games, excellent graphics and above all else, sites that can be trusted.

Those that did use to play at Slots of Vegas have long gone. What once could have been the world’s largest online casino is no more.
