WPT Global Qualifiers Score Huge Paydays

At the WPT World Championship last December, two WPT Global Qualifiers seized their opportunities with both hands and pocketed six-figure paydays.

LoriAnn Persinger won her seat to the $10,400 buy-in event from a social media giveaway and was able to parlay her freeroll into a $119,000 payout. Persinger was able to make it to Day 5 but bowed out in 30th place after being on the wrong side of a coin flip.

Ireland’s Stephen Kehoe was the WPT Global qualifier who went the furthest into the event, finishing in 14th place for $269,900. Kehoe was able to get into the WPT World Championship for a fraction of the price as he secured his seat at the table after he binked a WPT Global $550 satellite.
