Ruslan Prydryk’s Main Event Story

Ruslan Prydryk is a Ukrainian poker player with $461,758 in live tournament earnings.

His first recorded live tournament cash in 2009, with his last coming in 2017, which was for just $699 from a small-stakes tournament in Czechia.

Prior to making the WSOP Main Event final table, his only cash under the WSOP umbrella came back in 2011, where he finished in 79th place for $6,207 in Event #26: $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed.

All but four of his 22 tournament cashes have taken place in Europe, where he has made the money in countries such as France, Poland, and Germany, as well as his native country.

He has four tournament wins under his belt, with two victories in the Russian Poker Tour, one at the France Poker Series, and his last triumph was at the European Poker Tour, where he won a €1,100 NLH Turbo event at EPT Deauville for $ 21,863.

The biggest payout of his career also came on the EPT, where he finished in fifth place at EPT Warsaw for his only six-figure score. That was in October 2009, and he was awarded $104,637 for his efforts.

Prydryk’s Run to the Final Table

Ruslan’s Main Event journey began with him finishing with below a starting stack, but that soon turned around in the second stage, where he finished in the top 15% of the field. Since then, he’s always finished in the upper half of the chip counts until the conclusion of Day 8.
