Shortly after the Bounty Series V concludes on Global Poker, which is currently underway, the social poker site will host another exciting series that runs right into the upcoming Montreal Formula 1 race.

The Grand Prix Turbo Series Montreal runs from June 16-18 and features four daily Gold Coins (GC) tournaments and four daily Sweeps Coins (SC) tournaments. Both series wrap with the biggest event of them all — the Main Event.

Grand Prix Turbo Series Details

The series begins at 8:30 p.m. ET on June 16 with a GC 11,000 and SC 11 no-limit hold’em hyper-turbo event. Each tournament is of the hyper-turbo variety, which is quite appealing to those who don’t want to invest countless hours grinding out a tournament.

Each event, including the Main Event will be GC 11,000 or SC 11 to enter. As for the Main Event, the prizes are going to huge. Entrance into the big tournament, which starts at 5 p.m. ET on June 18, is GC 11,000 or SC 11, depending on which one (or both) you’d like to compete in. In the GC Main Event, there will be a boosted GC 25,000,000 added on, and then for the SC Main Event, there will be an SC 50,000 boosted on to the prize pool.

This is the second installment of a Grand Prix Turbo Series on Global Poker. The first one took place May 5-7 in support of the Miami, Florida Formula 1 race. At the end of the F1 season, the overall Sweeps Coin winner on Global Poker will win an exclusive trip to Italy and more specifically the Ferrari factory in Maranello.
