The recent Marrakech Poker Open was a huge success, not only for tournament organizers but Zoughari himself. After winning the MPO High Roller for ~€55,000, Zoughari followed it up with a second-place finish in the MPO Monster Stack.

After his two deep runs, Zoughari spoke with PokerNews, and had an emotional reaction to his recent success.

Who is Karl Chappe-Gatien

Chappe-Gatien is a French day-trader and High Stakes poker player. He allegedly lost 35% of his net worth in the collapse of FTX. His best poker result was a third-place finish in the 2022 Coin Rivet Invitational for $2,600,000.

Having been touched by Zoughari’s reaction, Chappe-Gatien contacted him with an unexpected and extraordinary proposal: $100,000 to play with at the next Triton Poker Series.

Details of the $100,000 “Deal”

• If he wins between $200,000 and $500,000, he gives back $100,000
• Between $600,000 and $1,000,000 in winnings, he will give back $200,000
• Over $1,000,000 in winnings, Moundir will return $300,000 to Chappe-Gatien
